Mr. Deepak Kumar is joining our Medical team

Vista is delighted to announce a new addition to its Medical Team

Mr. Deepak Kumar is a Consultant Audiological Scientist.

 

Deepak holds many qualifications including a Masters degree in Audiological Science from the prestigious Institute of Laryngology and Otology at University College London.  As well as regular clinical audiology services, he provides various assessments and treatments in the management of tinnitus and vertigo. (See below)

 

 

Tinnitus Clinic   Various diagnostic clinical audiology tests are carried out to determine the cause of the tinnitus. This helps determine the best tinnitus treatment plan for the individual.

 

Balance Clinic   Vestibular assessment and management.  Non-pharmacological treatments can be very successful in the management of vertigo.

 

Hearing Clinic   Deepak provides a full Audiology Service for all age groups from infancy. Patients undergo comprehensive clinical diagnostic audiology assessment which helps determine the best treatment plan for the individual.   Middle ear assessment, Eustachian Tube Function Test, Hearing Aid evaluation etc. are carried out if appropriate as part of the assessment.

 

Fees:

 

Consultation Fee €80 for each appointment (Patients with private health insurance may be able to claim partial reimbursement). There is a reduced fee of €50 for Medical Card holders.

Dr. Philip Hu, Consultant Pain Physician, has recently commenced private practice at Vista. He may already be known to you as he holds a public appointment at the Adelaide and Meath Hospital, incorporating the National Children’s Hospital in Tallaght.

Philip trained in Ireland under the auspices of the College of Anaesthetists of Ireland and received his CCST in 2007. He then went to Oxford for his Fellowship in Pain Medicine before returning to Ireland in 2009.
